HailMary:Vol.108
We had a 13-page feature on this in Hail Mary, including the back cover.
Y'2LEATHER's most representative materials are horse hides such as persimmon tannin horse hide, indigo horse hide, and eco horse hide, but this time we focused on deerskin.
When it comes to deerskin, we are talking about Fujioka Yukichi Honten, a prestigious tannery that has been in business for over 150 years.
Although they usually don't give interviews for over 10 years, they kindly agreed and showed us around the tannery.
It had been a while since I last visited, but like us, they are particular about the raw finish, and they add things that other companies would skip in order to achieve better leather.
And the president himself inspects the important parts.
The strength to stick to the basic things through to the core.
It was a very inspiring read.
There are detailed introductions to each item, such as "Reputation overseas", "company store", "FACTORY", and "Interview with the editor-in-chief", and it is quite a sight to behold.
This is a permanent edition.
Please purchase and take a good look at it.
