Type A-2

The Type A-2 series, which debuted last year, quickly gained popularity.

It featured three different leather options: the classic Indigo Horse, the newly developed Pull-Up Horse made specifically for the A-2, and a limited-edition 1.5mm Deerskin.
Although the design was the same, each leather brought its own unique character, and many sizes sold out even before the official release.

This season, we’re excited to introduce a new addition to the A-2 lineup: Eco Horse with Pigment Finish (Black).

While the traditional Eco Horse has a great presence, its considerable thickness didn't quite match the "Light Zone" concept. To address this, we thinned the leather down to 1.3mm to give it a lighter, more comfortable feel.

Eco Horse is typically dyed with aniline, which doesn’t produce a deep black. For this release, we applied a light pigment coating to achieve a rich, solid black finish.

To enhance the texture, we also added milling treatment, giving the leather a natural grain and depth.

Importantly, this leather was originally tanned at a thickness close to 2mm, so even after thinning, it retains the full amount of tannins and oil — offering both suppleness and durability.

The ribs and stitching are also finished entirely in black for a cohesive, minimal look.

At the same time, both the Indigo Horse and Pull-Up Horse versions have also been completed.
