The Power of Meaningful Encounters

Through an introduction from photographer YUTO, we had the pleasure of welcoming Shinji Kagawa — a footballer who has played at the highest level for clubs such as Borussia Dortmund — to our store.
Every jacket suited him remarkably well, and after considering both the deerskin car coat and the sheep leather rider’s jacket, he eventually chose the sheep leather model.

Although it is not comparable in any way, I played soccer when I was a student, so it was truly an honor to see someone like Mr. Kagawa—who has performed at the highest level for so many years—choose one of our jackets.

Thank you very much, Mr. Kagawa and YUTO, for the wonderful time.

A few days later, I also had the opportunity to have dinner with former professional baseball player Daisuke Motoki.
Our conversation ranged from leather jackets to life stories, and it was inspiring from start to finish.

Hearing from people who have worked at the top of their fields for many years reminded me that, regardless of industry, the essential values remain the same:
staying true to one’s principles, appreciating the people around you, and continuing to challenge and push each other forward.

These encounters reinforced those important values for me, and I hope to carry them with me as I continue to grow and refine my craft.
