A story about our hanger and garment bag.
At our company store, one of the things customers often compliment is the hanger and garment bag that come with our leather jackets.
“I didn’t expect such a solid hanger to be included.”
“This alone would be expensive to buy.”
“I enjoy just hanging my jacket on it and looking at it.”
“The garment bag is great for storing it safely when not in use.”
We hear these kinds of comments quite often.
When we first started, we didn’t include hangers.
At the store, we would simply tell customers,
“Even a plastic hanger is fine, as long as it’s wide enough.”
However, some customers told us that after hanging their jackets on thin hangers for years, the shoulders had developed unwanted creases.
That made us think—
we should provide the right hanger ourselves.
So that every jacket is stored in the proper way.
That’s how we decided to create our original hanger.
The goal has always been the same:
we want you to wear it for at least 10 years—
ideally 20 or 30.
The leather itself is well-oiled during tanning and finishing, so it doesn’t require excessive care.
But finding a proper hanger—both functional and visually fitting—is surprisingly difficult.
So we chose to include one from the beginning.
That idea hasn’t changed.
We’re glad to see that many customers appreciate it.
Although we haven’t talked about it much, our hangers are made by Nakata Hanger, a specialist manufacturer known for their craftsmanship and quality.
In fact, we offer three types of hangers, depending on the leather and size:
Standard width for steer and horse light
Wide type for eco-horse and deerskin
Extra-wide (46cm) for size 44 and above
Each jacket comes with the most suitable hanger.
“A leather jacket is completed not only by how it’s made, but also by how it’s kept.”
Since these are made as part of the set, we do not sell them separately.
But we hope you’ll also take a moment to appreciate the quality of our hangers and garment bags.
