[Notice Regarding Rising Leather Costs]
Thank you very much for your continued support of Y’2 LEATHER.
We would like to inform you that the environment surrounding the leather we use is undergoing significant changes.
During recent meetings with tanneries in Himeji, we were informed that the cost of raw materials, particularly horsehide, continues to rise.
This is mainly due to increasing raw hide prices, higher costs of chemicals and dyes used in the tanning process, as well as challenges within the industry such as an aging workforce and a decline in subcontractors.
As of April 2026, the cost of leather supplied by our tanneries has already been revised.
However, at Y’2 LEATHER, we have decided to maintain our current pricing for this season and absorb these increased costs on our end.
At present, no official price revisions have been announced for other types of leather.
However, given the same underlying factors, similar increases are expected across other materials in the future.
At Y’2 LEATHER, we remain committed to maintaining the highest quality and will continue working closely with our tanneries to create products that can be enjoyed for many years.
Should there be any further changes, we will inform you accordingly.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.
