2026 F/W THE LEATHER JACKET SEASON BEGINS.
The hot summer days are still with us, but leather jacket season is definitely getting closer.
And at Y'2 LEATHER, our 2026 F/W new releases and classic models are finally starting to arrive in full force.
This season's lineup includes our newly developed FADED HORSE, along with new models that further evolve some of Y'2 LEATHER's signature designs. These are pieces that we ourselves have been looking forward to seeing completed.
We can't wait for the weather to cool down so we can put on our favorite leather jackets and head out again.
At the same time, however, sourcing leather has been more difficult this season than in previous years.
Not only leather, but also linings, zippers, brass hardware and other materials have continued to rise in cost, while lead times have become considerably longer.
As we mentioned in our NEWS on May 1, the cost of raw hides has also increased significantly.

Since we have already announced our 2026 F/W prices and have received many pre-orders, we do not plan to change our prices during the current season.
However, as difficult as it is to say, considering the continued increase in the cost of raw materials and components, we expect that price revisions will be necessary from next season onward.
If there is a model you have been considering, we recommend contacting your nearest authorized Y'2 LEATHER dealer.
With that said, we'd like to take another look at five new 2026 F/W models that have already begun shipping.
① FADED HORSE WWII JEAN JACKET
This WWII-style jean jacket is made from FADED HORSE, our newly developed leather introduced this season.
We wanted the character of this leather to take center stage, so we chose one of the simplest jean jacket designs in our lineup: the WWII model.
The slightly oversized chest pocket without a flap and the rugged, minimal construction are a perfect match for the vintage-inspired character of FADED HORSE.
Of course, it is a great jacket to wear throughout fall and winter, but personally, I think it will look especially good after it has been worn for a while, when the leather has softened and developed some character—simply thrown over a T-shirt.
Because the design is so simple, you can experience the evolution of FADED HORSE even more directly as you wear it.
② FADED HORSE CAR COAT
Our classic 77 Car Coat, this time made from FADED HORSE.
FADED HORSE was developed to offer a different way of enjoying the aging process of horsehide from our long-running ECO HORSE.
Rather than being a leather that looks completely finished when new, its real appeal comes from how the color, luster and overall character gradually change with wear, developing an increasingly vintage appearance over time.
The simplicity of the 77 Car Coat allows the character and evolution of the leather itself to stand out.
I'm personally very interested to see how these jackets will look several years from now.
③ GOAT SKIN SINGLE BREASTED MOTORCYCLE JACKET
This new model is based on Y'2 LEATHER's classic 41 series, updated with action pleats for greater functionality.
The back features a two-panel construction, with a refined pattern designed to follow and wrap naturally around the body along the line of the spine.
The addition of action pleats also provides greater freedom of movement around the shoulders.
For the leather, we chose goat skin, which combines suppleness with excellent durability and water resistance.
It retains the clean silhouette of our 41 series while offering increased practicality as a true motorcycle jacket.
④ IRON TANNED HORSE D-POCKET DOUBLE BREASTED RIDERS
One of the most popular designs in the Y'2 LEATHER lineup, our 55 series is presented this season in IRON TANNED HORSE.
The vegetable-tanned horsehide is drum-dyed, finished with pigment, and then milled to bring out the natural grain and individual character of the leather.
The leather is approximately 1.3mm thick, giving it a substantial appearance while allowing it to break in and conform to the body relatively quickly.
For this model, everything from the zipper tape and stitching to the lining has been unified in black.
While the D-pocket construction has its roots in classic double riders jackets, the all-black finish gives the jacket a versatile character that works naturally with casual, mode-inspired and street styling.
⑤ OIL SOFT HORSE × ANILINE HORSE DOWN VEST
OIL SOFT HORSE is a horsehide with an unexpectedly soft, almost lambskin-like feel and a rich, supple oil finish.
This leather forms the main body of our new down vest.
For the yoke, we combined it with beautifully colored ANILINE HORSE, creating a contrast in texture and character between two very different expressions of horsehide.
It is easier and more relaxed to wear than a full leather jacket, while still providing the lightness and warmth you expect from down.
Wear it as an outer layer in early fall or incorporate it into your winter wardrobe. It's the kind of versatile piece that you'll find yourself reaching for again and again.
CLASSIC MODELS ARE ALSO ARRIVING
Alongside these new releases, deliveries of some of Y'2 LEATHER's signature models have also begun.
ANILINE HORSE JEAN JACKET (LB-140)
VINTAGE HORSE DOUBLE RIDERS (HR-55)
HV HORSE SINGLE RIDERS (HVR-42)
These and other classic Y'2 LEATHER models are now beginning to arrive at our dealers.
Please be sure to check them out along with this season's new releases.
ABOUT PRODUCTION THIS SEASON
There are currently no plans to reproduce the new models introduced above again during the 2026 F/W season.
For our classic models as well, longer lead times for leather and other materials, combined with our limited production capacity, mean that the number of pieces we can produce this season is limited.
Some models and sizes have already sold out through pre-orders, so if there is something you are interested in, please contact your nearest authorized Y'2 LEATHER dealer.
Models, sizes and delivery schedules vary by store, so please contact each dealer directly for the latest availability.
The 2026 F/W season is finally getting into full swing.
It may still be a little too warm for leather jackets, but we're already thinking about which jacket we'll choose this fall and winter—and how it will develop with years of wear.
We hope you'll enjoy finding a jacket of your own and watching it become truly yours over time.
