This item was produced with reference to the design data of aviator jackets and coats developed by the motor clothing divisions of Harrods and Dunhill in England in the 1910s and 1920s.
In this period when various designs existed, there were also designs that were customized to be short lengths of flying coats.
These jackets were worn with jodhpurs and trousers to create an adult look.
