These single riders are made of aniline steer, which has a fine grain like that of horsehide and a transparent coloring by finishing with aniline dyes at a tannery specializing in horsehide, while taking advantage of the unique thickness of the steer.
This is a piece that can be expected to age well, as it has a thickness of around 1.5mm in the mold of Y'2 LEATHER's standard 42 series of slim riders.
