ECO HORSE

Aging, this time in the "ECO HORSE" section.

First of all, please take a look at the first picture.

This is one of the pieces that customers who visit our directly-managed store in Osaka are sure to see.

This is an early ECO HORSE that I wore.

It has been worn for 13 years.

It is full vegetable tanned leather with no extra coloring agents or pigments added.

I made this leather in the image of my favorite innocent horsehide from the 1930s.

The greatest feature is the thickness and hardness of the leather.

The leather is then soaked in tannin and shrunk by about 25% using a certain method.

By shrinking the leather, the silver surface of the leather is condensed and the thickness and hardness increase.

The leather is hard at first, but it starts to relax with a "squeak" sound.

The second image is the one used as the cover of "Daytona BROS".

I think many of you have seen this and decided to grow eco-horse.

After the hard leather jacket, which is hard to put on, is acclimated as shown in the image, I feel like it has become my "real partner" and I am deeply moved.

There is nothing difficult at all.

There is no right answer.

If you wear it with love, it will fit your body day by day, year by year.

Yes, at least 10 years.

We do not recommend wetting it in water or forcibly bending the sleeves too much, as it puts a load on the leather and the aging process will be unnatural.

Please wear it normally.

They are not SLR or studio shots, but they are all great one.

The thickness of the ecohose is around 2 mm.

For those who like Ecohose but find it stiff, we also have "Ecohose LIGHT 1.3mm".

This is a thinner suede (floor) version of the 2mm Ecohose.

It is a luxurious specification that is thinned down to 1.3mm after 2mm of tannin and oil are added.

I also wear a car coat (EC-77), and I recommend it because it is easy to wear. (Image 8)

However, aging is proportional to the thickness and hardness, so if you want to get a deep aging effect, please wear 2mm thick.
