This cyclist leather jacket was a favorite in France in the 1940s.
Many were made of woven fabric as well as leather, and it is believed that the design was actually intended for engineers and other technical workers.
It is also called the Hartmann jacket after the German pilot "Hartmann" who made it a famous jacket.
The front hem is molded from a vintage piece to create an original buckle, and the length and width have been reconstructed to a balance that makes it easy to wear even in town.
